Joining a community of like-minded individuals is a great way to grow both personally and professionally. Attending meetups and networking events can help you develop new relationships and find inspiration from others who share your passions. Whether it’s through attending in-person meetups or virtual events, participating in a community can be an enriching experience that can positively impact your life. I recently attended an exciting Salesforce/MuleSoft meetup in Nagpur, India. The event featured three informative sessions on various Salesforce products.
During the event, Saurabh Dukre, a Senior Technical Consultant at Perficient Nagpur, presented the first topic, which focused on MuleSoft Automation using RPA. He explained how businesses can automate their processes and tasks with MuleSoft RPA by utilizing bots, which not only saves time but also reduces human errors. It was fascinating to learn that MuleSoft RPA can automate processes requiring human input and interact with systems that do not have an API available for use.
Sanjog Majarkhede, also a Senior Technical Consultant at Perficient Nagpur, then gave an overview of Vlocity/Omnistudio and its features such as Omniscript, Dataraptor, and Integration Procedures. It was interesting to learn that Salesforce Vlocity is designed to build industry-specific CRM solutions for Cloud and mobile use and is particularly useful for industries like communications, media and entertainment, insurance and financial services, health, energy and utilities, and government and nonprofits.
Lastly, Harshal Ramdham, a Technical Consultant at Perficient Nagpur, presented on Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ), which was recently introduced by Salesforce in 2020. Harshal explained how Salesforce Revenue Cloud combines various capabilities to assist organizations in managing their revenue streams, improving forecasting skills, and increasing efficiency across all sales channels, including Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ), Billing, Partner Relationship Management, and B2B Commerce.
The meetup was an excellent opportunity to learn about various Salesforce products and network with industry experts. I am grateful to have been one of the winners and received cool swag as a prize. The meetup was not only informative but also interactive, and attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions with the presenters. The presenters were knowledgeable and passionate about their topics, and their presentations were engaging and easy to follow. It was also an excellent opportunity to network with other developers and industry experts, which can lead to new collaborations and opportunities.
I also appreciated the effort made by the organizers to make the event accessible to a wider audience. The meetup also provided a great opportunity for attendees to connect with others in the Salesforce community. The organizers also did an excellent job of providing resources for attendees to continue learning and exploring the topics covered in the sessions. They shared links to additional resources, including documentation, community forums, which will be useful in diving deeper into the topics.
Furthermore, the prize I received as one of the quiz winners added to the excitement of the event. It was a cool swag that I proudly added to my collection. The prize was not only a gesture of appreciation but also a reminder of the value of attending such events and the opportunities they can offer.
Overall, the Salesforce Developer Group meetup co-hosted by the MuleSoft Meetup Group in Nagpur, India was an excellent event that provided valuable insights into various Salesforce products. The sessions were informative, engaging, and interactive, and the community of attendees was diverse and welcoming. I am looking forward to attending future events and being part of the vibrant Salesforce community.
